Local rules

Before you drive in Barcelona

  • Barcelona's ZBE applies Monday to Friday, 7:00–20:00. Foreign-registered cars cannot get a Spanish DGT label and must be registered with the AMB before entering; approval can take up to 15 days.
  • TBD: cars based in Barcelona are cleared for the ZBE
  • The Rondes ring roads are outside the zone.
  • The AP-7 along the Catalan coast has been toll-free since 2021.
