  • Austrian motorways and expressways are vignette roads. In 2026 the digital vignette costs €9.60 for one day and €12.80 for ten days, and both are valid as soon as you buy them online; two-month and annual vignettes bought online start on the 18th day.
  • The Brenner, Tauern and Arlberg crossings carry their own section tolls on top of the vignette.
  • Street parking in every Vienna district is time-limited on weekdays from 9:00 to 22:00: two hours at most, €1.70 per half hour in 2026. A hotel or public garage is simpler for an expensive car.
